There is perhaps no greater sense of belonging and purpose than a strong community of family, friends, and caring neighbors. Alameda County is a great place to live, work and raise a family and I promise to fight to make it even better.

How am I going to make it better? I mean politicians always tell you they are going to solve all the problems, right? Here’s how: I’m going to focus on getting three things done. Not everything.
Three things: 

1. Enact fair but firm solutions to help the homeless in our community

2. Work to end the traffic gridlock on our freeways and streets

3. Balance the county budget, make it more transparent, and prevent higher taxes.
