David Haubert Endorsed by Both Tri-Valley County Supervisors

(DUBLIN)- Alameda County Supervisors Scott Haggerty and Nate Miley have both officially endorsed David Haubert for Dublin City Council.

“I have known David Haubert for many years.  He has proven himself to be a dedicated community leader who works tirelessly on behalf of the residents of Dublin.  I fully support his candidacy”, said Supervisor Scott Haggerty.  Supervisor Haggerty’s endorsement is especially meaningful because he also resides in Dublin.

“I’ve known David Haubert for over 11 years and he has been an outstanding leader on the Dublin School Board.  He’ll make a great city councilmember” said Supervisor Miley.

I’m extremely proud that both Tri-Valley area County Supervisors are endorsing me”, said

David Haubert.  “This reassures the residents of Dublin that I will be able to work well together with Alameda County and the Board of Supervisors.

The deadline to file and enter the race for Dublin City Council was last Friday, Aug 10.  David Haubert was the first candidate to enter the race and at the time of the deadline a total of six had applied.  Incumbent Kevin Hart, Planning Commissioner Doreen Wehrenberg, Heritage and Cultural Arts Commissioner Anita Carr, Shawn Costello and Shehu Hassan also completed their applications to be listed on the ballot.

“I called each of them on Friday and congratulated them for taking the step to get involved” said Haubert.  “I’m excited that Dublin has this many residents interested in serving on the

City Council.  Dublin deserves good leaders and I recognize that competing hard for an open seat will make me a better candidate and ultimately a better City Councilman.”

The election will be held on Tuesday, November 6.
